Here is a poem I wrote…
Almost Over
Almost over, it’s like it never
happened.
We read books, and learned facts,
We wished it would go faster.
But now it’s almost over, it’s
like it never happened
What felt like forever, is now
coming too soon.
Some wish it was over already, I
don’t want it quite yet.
Now it’s almost over, and part of
me wants it to stop
The other part wants to move on
Almost over, it’s like it never
happened
