There are some little puppies on the street that are really cute!  We wish we could take them upstairs with us, but we can't for a few reasons.  They are really cute though! and tiny...

My birthday is coming up in 28 days.  I will be 11!  That will be a lot of fun and we are going home around sometime in June!  First we are going to stop at the Taj though and then head home!  Neni, mommy's mom is coming sometime in May so she can travel home with us and she will get to see the Taj Mahal also.  That will be fun, though I don't know when she is coming!  It is Megan's Birthday today so, Happy Birthday Megan,  WOW you're already 12! Happy Golden Birthday!

Mumbai Trip

Hello,
First of, Sorry I haven't blogged for a little bit.  Friday morning we went to Mumbai to pick up Daddy and Rene.  (Leigh and Benjamin went with us.)  I might as well tell you about are whole weekend while I'm at it.

Friday morning we went to tennis and then went to breakfast.  After breakfast a quick shower and getting our stuff ready we were ready to go to Mumbai a day early.  Let me explain...  Daddy didn't look over his travel plains quite right so he thought that he was getting home on Saturday night instead of Friday night.  But, he found out and we decided to go on Friday!!!  Now back to the story...

We left Pune at about 11:00 a clock in the morning.  We drove for about 2 2 and a 1/2 hours and then got to the entrance of Mumbai.  Let me get this straight,  the trip to Mumbai is about 3 and a 1/2 to 4 hours of driving.  If you're not stuck in CRAZY traffic almost all the way.  That's what happened to us.
Here are a few pic of the traffic.

Though I didn't get very good pics, it does show some of the traffic.
We were in the car for another 3 hours and then managed to make it to our hotel.  Our plan was to do a bit if sight seeing after we checked into the hotel.  But, we were so fed up with the car and traffic that we decided to stay at the hotel and have a relaxing afternoon at the pool.  It was very nice, the pool was warm, big and nice!  We brought our picnic down and ate at the pool.  Hummus, veggies, chips, salsa, potato salad, and more chips!  YUM!

After that we went up to the room and got ready to go pick daddy up.  Then we headed to the airport.
We waited for about 30 to 45 minutes, and then saw daddy and went to pick him up.  We got back to the hotel and remembered that (we had Theo) pets weren't allowed where we were staying.  Daddy talked to one lady and then talked to another man and then talked to another man and the talked to ANOTHER man.  Then we talked to a lady (in a black suit) and she recommended some other hotel that allows pets and we decided to go there.  So we drove for another 20 25 minutes and then got to our hotel.  It was already like 11:30 at night and we were up till 1:00 A.M.  So that was exciting.

The next day we had planned to go to a fishing village down south.  Since we were up till 1:00 we decided against it and we headed towards the GATE WAY OF INDIA.  That was pretty cool although it was SUPER HOT.  Next we headed to the beach and found some street sellers (beach sellers) and ate there.  I had Pao Bhaji, Leigh, Sam and Daddy also had Pao Bhaj, and Mommy had a dosa. It was fun.  Then we went down to the beach and put our feet in.  We got a lot of stares since every single person in the water was Male.  Then we went to a laundry hanging outside.  Explanation...  This is where people bring there laundry and people wash it and hang it up, all males.  So that was cool!!!  Then we went to a temple which was not so cool...  There was so, much poverty it was unbelievable.  Some of it was disturbing and REALLY sad.  After that we headed to the hotel and had a relaxing night! Thankfully! Here are some pics...

India and More

Good morning everyone!
Hope you are all having a good day right now.  We had a pretty good day also.  Mommy went to Dorabjees to get some groceries (which were much needed.)  Sam and I stayed home to do some of our school work.  It was a bit sad for mommy after she was listening to a song by Amy Grant; Third World Woman and looked out the window and saw the exact thing she was singing about...
Here's the song so you can listen to it.  If you were here you would see the exact same things out of your window.

Sam and I are planning an Easter event for a few of the kids here a the hotel and the apartments across the street.  We are going to have little clues, oopps, I can't write this down right now, because most of the people that are attending read my blog and we don't want them to know what the clues are, right?

This Saturday Daddy is returning and we are going to go pick him up in Mumbai (Bombai) and what a surprise (not really) that Rene is returning on that same day at the same time.  So we are going with Leigh and Benjamin to pick up our Dad, Papa, and lost husbands.  So that will be fun,  we are going to look around Mumbai (Bombai) and see what we can find.  We are probably going to go to a Market that sells all sorts of things.  Not just Fru and Veg.

Have you ever read The Wheel On The School? I am in the middle of reading it right now.  It is quite good and you really get into it.  You also REALLY REALLY need to read Mrs. Frisby and The Rats of Nimh.  This is an AWESOME book.  You really need to read it.  Seriously.

There's this cool idea of when you think of something you don't want to forget, you put it in a jar and you'll have that memory always. This idea was passed on to you, which was passed on to me by Leigh.  Mommy and Leigh have been getting lots of cool ideas of of pintrest.

Lets see, what else did we do today?  Ahhh, Lena is getting very big everyday. She is a lot longer and is trying to hold her head.  She is very cute...

Well, I got to hustle. This is a word that is now commonly used at the tennis court by Mommy and Leigh.
Got to hustle.
Have a great day.

My Hair Cut and Missing GM...

Hi,
My hair-cut is awesome!  I really like it.  Here are a few pics of me after I cut it!

You can kinda see the camel behind is if you look carefully!

This is the ponytail they cut of.  GROSS...

I think it's very nice!

As you notice my title: My Hair Cut and Missing GM: you might wonder, who's the GM? Or how did he go missing?  So this might disappointed you a bit, since he didn't exactly go missing he just was here one day and gone the next.  Not quite.  Here's the story,  on Friday morning after tennis we went down to breakfast and ate with Edna and Andrew (another lady that plays tennis and her son) and Leigh joined us after a bit.  Then Edna left and just us and Leigh were there.  Vemel (Andria's mom) came over and sat down,  she told us that the GM which stands for General Manager (A General Manager is responsible for higher level planning than a manager. A General Manager is often responsible for the overall strategic planning and direction of the company or organization and leaves the day-to-day management of the various functions to the managers.)  and told us that he had been fired dew to some mistake he had made.  Some big mistake it must have been.  After breakfast we walked to our annex and saw that there was a luggage cart in front of the GM's room.  Pretty weird, right?  We went up to the room and then Sam and I took Theo out potty and saw Neha (the GM's daughter) standing right by the door after we saw the GM, he's wife and little boy (Anch) get into the elevator with a bunch of stuff.  We asked Neha what was happening and she said that her dad had quit.  So, we don't know exactly what happened , but we do know that he left and now there is new General Manager. (which we have not met yet.)  That was pretty exciting!  Fun right, a little mystery to make life more exciting, like it needs it right now.  But, it's always fun to have more surprises!

Bye,

Five things!

To start of with, I posted my sequel to Texas Mystery on my other blog www.mystories-mak-school.blogspot.com.  It's is pretty exciting and Rene is in it so he is pretty excited about that.

Secondly, I got my hair cut today!  It's sort a like a pixie cut, but a little longer!   I would post a pic, but Sam and I are watching Benjamin right now and I have no pics.  I will post a pic tomorrow.

Third, I am a bit jealous of daddy who is in the USA right now!  Though I am glad to be here with our friends.

Fourth, poor little Benjamin is a little sick.  He had a fever for about two days and now he is just coughing a little bit.  Poor sweeetie ):

Fifth, yesterday the hotel had another kidz program this Friday afternoon.  I helped Nora with her project (a picture frame, it was a flower) and she put the paint brush in her mouth, the little stinker!  Then she tried to eat the little beads.  After that I went and then got her some french fries and ketchup.  It was quite funny,  after she had it with ketchup about three times, she would not eat the french fries without it.  She would get to much ketchup, make a face and then not like french fries for about 3 to 5 minutes and then be perfectly fine!  She is such a dolly!!!!!!!!!!

That's about it for today!
