My Life =)

Hi,

Lots has been happening since I last posted!

Christmas was a lot of fun and since I was sick for more than a week I had almost 3 and 1/2 weeks off of school!!!  We had a lot of fun and did some fun things!  As some as you have already seen we made a video to the song Feel Again by One Republic with some of our great friends who used to live in our neighborhood Megan, Lauren, and Hannah!   It was a lot of fun and it was great to see them again!  Here is the link...

We also got to go see Jon, Laura, and Kate for Kate's 2nd birthday!  Happy Birthday "KK"!!!  It was great to see them again!  We miss you guys!

School has also been going very well and I am having a lot of fun!  I am now sitting with 4 boys at my table (pretty exciting), but thankfully they are all pretty nice!  Two weeks ago Mrs. N*****was on vacation so we had a sub Mr. Y*** who was very nice and also very funny!  He had this thing that he would say, "spring a leak!" and everyone would make a sound like  a pipe was leaking which is also the same sound as when you are telling someone to be quiet. Shh! Today at lunch I was sitting across from two girls Helen and Ally and somehow got into the conversation of how I don't eat meat.  Here's how it went...

The lunch today was fish sticks at school and I of course, didn't get them.  Izzy and I were talking about how I wouldn't eat them and Ally and Helen looked up at me strangely.

"Oh, I don't eat meat," I told them.

"Oh," Ally said, "So like, you can't drink pop?"

"No, I can drink pop!" I said laughing.

It was pretty funny!

One day while Mr. Y*** was teaching our class everyone was getting a little tired so he made everyone stand up and do different exercises!  One of them was from the very funny music video, Gangnam Style!  Before this he had handed out little tickets and throughout the day he would look around for the misbehaving kids and take away their tickets! There is this one boy in my class who didn't participate in the exercises and Mr. Y threatened (jokingly), to take one of his tickets away if he didn't start doing the moves.  It was pretty funny!
Mom bought Sam and I each a pair of very funny glasses with fluffy eyebrows and a big nose!  I took these to school, and when Mr. Y saw them he said he would give our group 1 extra point when we reviewed our social studies if I wore the glasses!  It was pretty funny, and my group appreciated it, except he said that he would give us a full point, but only gave us 1/2!   It was still cool though.  He was pretty nice!

Mrs. N is back! (She's our normal homeroom teacher)  It's nice to have her back, and now everything is back to normal.  Everyday we have to pick our chairs up so the custodians can easily clean.  There is this one boy, Clyde, who is pretty nice and one morning I walked in and my chair was down.  I said, "Didn't I put my chair up?" and he said, "Oh yeah, we took it down for you."  It was pretty funny! (and sweet!=)

Violin is going well and so is choir.  Just recently I was chosen for an honors choir along with some other kids, and we had to go on a trip to perform a concert about an hour away. We left at about 7:45 in the morning and arrived at our destination at about 9:00.  We practiced the music until about 11:30 and then whoever wanted to, could audition for a solo in one of the songs.  It would be a group solo,  and I decided to try out.  Then we went to lunch (Subway) and had about an 1 hour 45 minute break, and then we returned to practice.  Happily for me I got the solo along with four other kids from our district and a few more from other districts.  It was pretty exciting.  We sang 5 songs, Alleluia (not the alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, one...it was different,) Evening Prayer from Hansel and Gretal, Put On Your Sunday Clothes, from Hello Dolly, Away From The Roll Of The Sea (which I got the solo for,) and last but not least, Every Time I Feel The Spirit.  It was a lot of fun! I also met two very sweet girls (5th grade) that unfortunately do not go to our school district.  It was a great experience and I will definitely remember it.

Well, this is what's been happening around here. Pretty boring right. (HeeHee:)

Have a great day/night wherever you are!
Bye for now!

  2. Thanks for sending this. I especially liked the part about not being able to drink soda if you don't eat meat and the part about Gangnam Style. Everyone knows that song!
